Sticky fingernail polish brush??

The brush inside of my fingernail polish has become sticky and matted up....how do I fix this problem. The fingernail polish inside the bottle isn't dried up or "gummy" it's just that the brush is all matted together and I cant apply the polish. How do I unstick the brush??? Without having to get a whole new bottle of polish. Thanks

Clean it with nail polish remover and if that doesnt work just buy a cheap new brush
Reply:Like someone else suggested, clean the tip of the brush with nail polish remover or acetone. And then rinse it off with water thoroughly. When you clean it, use a cotton ball or just wear rubber gloves if you don't want to deal with the smell etc. GoOD LucK!
Reply:Hey, soak the brush in acetone or nail polish remover. Don't dab the brush though as this can bend the hairs. Lets it sit then rinse and let sit again until the polish is gone. Get an eyelash brush and comb the brush. Depending on what the brush is made of, you may be able to straightne it using an iron BUT this is only usually possible in more expensive brands which use real hair or natural fibres to make their brushes. This should fx your problem. Goodluck Ps, you can buy nail polish brushes which you use instead of the one that comes in the bottle. These are better as you can rinse them and let them dry.
