Tks for all the previous answers though I am hoping for all of my questions in the previous entry to be answered. Will try to be more organised in future so people know all the questions i have posed. Well, someone mentioned using nail polish to protect silver. Will that work on chain too since it is curvy n linked separate rings? Will nail polish peel off after some time? Can silver polish still be used on silver after that? I have many thin silver chains that have turned black. Threw some away. Could I have 'revived' them with toothpaste, as someone has suggested? tks
