Any one Polish?!?

I am part Polish (but don't speak any at all!) and was thinking that it would be pretty neat to call my two boys ages 3 and 2 an endearing name in Polish on occasion. I'm looking for something like "beloved", "sweetheart", "angel", etc, etc. If anyone is Polish and knows of anything appropriate to call a son, please answer! Also, I will need to you phonetically spell it so I will be able to pronounce it. Thanks for anyone who helps!

That would be:


"kochanie" ("beloved", used here also as equivalent to "darling", pronounciation should be sth like "kokhanyie").


Can't find any equivalent to "sweetheart" that would be appropriate when referring to a child.


"anioł", or rather "aniołek" (literally "angel" or "little angel", which is actually sometimes used when referring to a child). Pronounciation should be alike to "aniow" with "a" like in "ah!" and "w" like in "world" / "aniowekh" with "e" like in "ear".





However, Polish is a highly declinative language, and forms do change a lot - "kochanie" can be used as-is, since it's gramatically neutral. "Aniołek" however should undergo some changes depending on the situation / context. Still, for your needs the basic form should do...





Keep in mind the pronounciation guidelines are only as accurate as I could write them, I have a problem imagining how it should be written phonetically for an English-speaking person. So better ask someone speaking good Polish to say it a few times, and make your own phonetic writing.

Reply:I don't speak Polish but the word for loved in Russian an other Slavic language is Lubimy it's probably simular in Polish.
