Nail polish!?

My mom is being really, really, REALLY stupid.








In your opinion, do you think that it is crazy to have bright colors for nail polish [like orange, yellow, hot pink, blue, etc.]


or having your nails w/ all different colors all at once?

Do you also think that it's alright to wear nailpolish to school [Idk my mom is like seriously on her period. She said that I should not wear nailpolish 'till 18! Omg]

Nail polish!?
If you are a young lady, perhaps in elementary school, wearing subtle colors such as pale pinks and such is what your mom thinks is appropriate.


If you are in Jr. High, then I think it's okay to express yourself with nail polish of any color. My daughter is 13, going into 8th grade and has to dress according to the school dress code so letting her wear nail polish of any color is fine with me.


If you paint your nails with a quality base coat, nail polish and another coat of nail polish, then it can last up to a week for me.


My favorite nail polish is O.P.I., it IS the best polish for your $$$$. Good luck with your mom! Just start off with light colors and be patient with her. She is only doing what she thinks is best for you sweetie!

Act like you are mature and not like a spoiled little brat and maybe your Mom will let you try some light colors......Talking like that about your Mom is VERY UNCOOL!

Reply:WOW. your mom sounds weirdddd. Um. I don't like multiple colors at once, but bright colors are VERY trendy for summer. It usually can only last for a max of 10 days. Most of the time it'll chip in like 3 or 4. Hope i helped :]
Reply:My mommy lets me wear any color nailpolish I want and I'm 13 just like you.If I were you I would start off with basic colors and then do designs with bright colors and then work your way to the bright colors and your mommy might not care.

Reply:Nail polish is amazing. I'm wearing bright blue right now, lol and I'm 16. It usualyl lasts 4-5 days before it starts chipping but it does depend on the brand. And nailpolish is fine for school, especially when u compare painted fingernails to miniskirts an go-go boots.
Reply:nail polish doesnt last that long. and you can always take it off with polish remover. maybe your mom is over reacting. but then again, calling her stupid, you might be over reacting as well
