HELP! nail polish CRISIS?

I have no nail polish remover and I need this polish off soon. I have hardly any polish left, and I cant go to the store. Please help me! I have rubbing alchohol, does it work?

Rubbing alcohol won't work.





If there are any tools/workshops, check for acetone. That's what the harsh and most dangerous nail polish removers are made of.





Failing that, use a clear nail polish remover, that isn't "quick dry". It takes forever, but you can slowly remove the old polish, by dissolving it with the fresh polish. Apply the new polish, wait just long enough for it to start to adhere to the old polish, and remove. Repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat.





No guarantees, though.

Reply:I can't imagine a nail polish crisis. But if it's a crisis to you, I'm here to help. Since there's very little polish left, nibble it off. I have done this by scrapeing the nail with my bottom teeth. Gross but effective.

Reply:No it doesn't just put more nail polish on and take a piece of cloth and take both nail polishes off it works like a charm

Reply:Sometimes it works if you put a layer of another nailpolish (clear is probably best) on top of it and very quickly, before it dries, scratch or peel it off. The idea is that it will take the other layer of nail polish already on your nail with it.
Reply:pick it off or soak it in warm water. that loosens the polish and then u can pick it off. rubbing alchohol does not work i dont think.
