My marble living room floor hasn't been thoroughly cleaned for years, and there are stains which I think (I'm not sure) are actual stains, not natural veining. No cleaner I've tried gets them out, however.
My contractor says a simple polish will restore the floor, but other people say it needs a "grind and polish".
Is a "grind and polish" really better, and how much dust does it throw up, normally?
Marble floor - polish, or grind and polish?
Polish for stains if is sealed at all, grind is only for scratch's that go deep in the stone. a bufffer may be required to strip the wax sealer off then seal and wax the floors
Reply:polish will be enough great polish and cleaner is called Alex but Ive only seen it in Spain?so if any one is going there ask them to bring it back for you black is ***** and red is Rosa The black is the white with black veins ,fab stuff brings up like new ask at your B%26amp;Q or homebase hire a buffer machine
Reply:a polish should be enough but if they were to grind and polish they would grind with water there for keeping dust to a minimum
skin rash
