I think your best bet may be to cover it up. With a leather "paint" for example. Call a local leather shop and get advice from them and what types of products they offer. Depending on the color of your leather and where it is located on the sofa will determine how easy this will be for you. After working in a leather shop many years ago, I saw people try everything- permanent marker, shoe polish, paint, etc. Just have to experiment, probably in an inconspicuous spot first, to see what will work. Good Luck!

P.S. No more nail polish around Grandmas couch please! :)
Reply:First, I would beat him within an inch of his life with one of his Barbie’s for ruining the couch. After that, I would use a little rubbing agent and clean the couch as well as I could with one of his skirts. That will teach him to be careless with his fingernail polish again! Report It

Reply:Nail polish remover has an will remove the color from any type of leather.. The area will need to be re dyed. There are leather repair companies that can fix the area. SEE THE BEFORE AND AFTER PIC ON THIS SIGHT. Its identical to your issue..
