Polish dog name?

my nan got a dog off a polish man and the name on the paper sais "devie" how do u say that in polish?

My mother's family is Polish. My Babcia told me some names are the same in Polish and English.

It is not easy when writing, (not speaking,) to tell you how to pronounce it, regardless of what language I use.


You could change its name to something else, the dog will get use to a new name. Dogs don't really know what their name is. I have called my Mom's dog several different names and it will come to me no matter what name I use to show her that dogs don't know what their name is. If you have a bowl of food in your hand, the dog doesn't care what you call it! Seriously, I have tried it with several dogs, and so far every one of them responds no matter what name I use. Try it, you will see I am right!!


I think you should call it "Devski" nice Polish name, don't ya think? Or how about "Jurkoffski"?
