Polish Honey???

My husband went to Poland on business a few weeks ago and one of the people he met over there gave him a box containing polish wine and 2 pots of polish honey. I tried cooking with one of the honey and it tasted really bad and smelt bad too. Are there any polish people out there who can tell me the difference. One is %26quot;Miod nektarowy gryczany%26quot; the other is Miod nektarowy wielokwiatowy%26quot;. Thanks

Polish Honey???
Miod means honey.

Gryczany is honey made from the nectar of buck wheat. It is very strong and sharp in flavour. Not everyone likes this. The beehives are put in fields of buck wheat.

Wielokwiatowy = of many flowers.
Reply:There are a few Polish Honeys working at my place...
